He is a PhD Scholar with an academic background in Microbiology and Genomics.
He holds an M.Sc. Degree in Genomics from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai.
He has worked as a Junior Research Fellow at Pondicherry University, Pondicherry;
SRF at KMCH Research Foundation,Coimbatore and Visiting Research Student at SRIHER, Chennai and NIMHANS Bangalore.
His research experience includes stem cell isolation and characterisation, small animal models, gut–brain axis studies,
marine biomolecule identification, and toxicology research from which he has acquainted experience in molecular biology, cell culture, metabolomics techniques.
At GOREF, he works on early biomarker discovery using quantitative proteomics in tissues and plasma, employing in-solution tryptic digestion and
TMT-based quantitative mass spectrometry approaches and proteomics data analysis. His PhD research work focuses on mitochondrial dysfunction in IVD pathogenesis using
proteomics and in vitro model approaches.
