Ganga Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (GOREF) is an internationally renowned interdisciplinary research institution founded in 2002 by Dr. Rajasekaran in 2002. GOREF is a recognized research Centre for biomedical research by Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore. GOREF is also recognized by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) as a research center. GOREF has obtained several grants including Center of Excellence from key funding bodies including DBT (Establishment of Low Back Pain and Degenerative Disc Disease research) and ICMR. GOREF has a strong track-record in focused scientific research in Musculoskeletal diseases. Over the last two decades, GOREF has made seminal contributions in the fields of multi-omics (metagenomics, proteomics, metabolomics and bioinformatics) and its application to various basic and clinical research. The selected candidates will be enrolled for their Ph.D. at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal.
